Privacy Policy

This page describes what personal data the Dibs! service (“Dibs!”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, who it’s shared with, and the rights you have over it under EU/UK GDPR. Operator: MARK STUART SWORN FIE, an Estonian sole trader (Estonian Commercial Register number 16893336) trading as Dibs!. Contact: hello@dibs.horse.

1. What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the subscription and grant you channel access:

Email address — collected by Stripe at checkout, stored by us against your subscriber record. Used for account recovery, billing notifications, and (rarely) service announcements. We don’t do marketing drip emails.
Telegram identifiers — your numeric user ID and, if your account has one, your handle (e.g. @yourname). Captured by our bot when you claim channel access. Used to grant + revoke access and to associate channel actions with your subscription.
Payment data — held by Stripe under their own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). We never see your full card details. We do see Stripe’s customer ID and subscription ID, which we store against your subscriber record.
Operational logs — every grant + revocation of channel access is timestamped to an internal audit log (subscriber id, action type). No message content is logged.

2. What we don’t collect

Your messages in the Telegram channel (Telegram’s infrastructure, not ours).
Browsing behaviour on dibs.horse — no analytics scripts, no cookies, no tracking pixels. Cloudflare may log standard request metadata (IP, user-agent) for DDoS / abuse protection under their privacy policy.
Polymarket trading activity is on-chain and public; we observe it the same way anyone else can.

3. How we use it

To verify your subscription is active and grant you channel access.
To kick you from the channel if your subscription is cancelled (per our Terms of Service).
To send you the welcome email after subscribing.
To respond to support requests you initiate.
To meet our tax-record obligations (Stripe handles the invoice/receipt generation).

4. Who we share it with

Two third parties are necessarily involved in delivering the Service:

Stripe — handles payments and tax collection. Required to process your subscription. Their privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
Telegram — delivers the alerts to your account. Required to provide the Service. Their privacy policy: telegram.org/privacy.

We don’t sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone else. We don’t do affiliate marketing, list rentals, or data-brokerage of any kind.

5. Where the data lives

Subscription records are stored on a dedicated server hosted in Helsinki, EU (Hetzner Online GmbH). Operational backups, if any, stay within the EU. Stripe processes payment data in the EU + US under their own data-processing agreements.

6. How long we keep it

Subscriber records (email, Telegram identifiers, Stripe IDs) are retained for as long as your subscription is active and for up to 24 months after cancellation, to support reactivation and to meet bookkeeping obligations. After that they’re deleted from our systems. Stripe retains payment records per their own retention schedule.

7. Your rights (EU/UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold on you.
Rectification — correct any inaccurate data.
Erasure — request deletion (will end your subscription).
Data portability — get your data in a machine-readable form.
Object — refuse further processing.
Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Estonia: Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

8. Cookies

dibs.horse sets no cookies and runs no analytics scripts. The Stripe Pricing Table embedded on /subscribe and the Stripe Checkout flow may set cookies necessary for payment processing — see Stripe’s cookie policy.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via Telegram before they take effect.
